Tenants
If you’ve found a property you’d like to know more about, contact the office so we can arrange an accompanied VIEWING for you at the property. We are able to arrange up to three viewings per appointment.
In order to RESERVE a property, you will pay a documentation charge and deposit.
We require all applicants to complete our APPLICATION form from which we lift details for referencing. Applications can be processed in as little as 24 hours, but you should usually allow at least a few days for your referees to respond.
TENANCIES will be for an initial six months and are usually renewable after that time. On or before the day you move into your property, you will need to attend the office by appointment to sign CONTRACTS. On the actual day of your move, you will collect KEYS from the office, along with a CONDITION report. This report allows you to note any comments you wish to make about the property or any inventory at the start of the tenancy.
During your tenancy, you will have access to a full and comprehensive MAINTENANCE team through HomeLets of Bath (unless your landlord manages his own property, in which case he will be available to you). In addition, you will have the comfort of knowing we have a 24-hour emergency helpline.
At the END of your tenancy, we will write to you to confirm your final rent payment and terms required to end your tenancy. Deposits are usually returned within 14 days of your fulfilling your contractual obligations.
