Tenancies and Services

Most TENANCIES are initially six months and may be renewed according to each individual circumstance.

During the tenancy, we offer you three different SERVICES. Most HomeLets’ properties are managed, whereby we collect rents and supply all maintenance cover, including a 24-hour emergency helpline. Managed landlords will receive their rent and statement once a month as well as copies of all correspondence, but otherwise can relax in the knowledge we are handling the day-to-day management of their property.

Alternatively, you may wish to take a ‘let only’ service. In this case, HomeLets will handle all procedures up to and including signing the agreement, after which time the landlord will collect rent and provide maintenance.

Lastly, a handful of landlords choose a ‘let only’ with rent collection service which is exactly as it sounds. We are happy to talk you through your options and discuss your individual requirements at any time.

Compliance with safety REGULATIONS is mandatory for all landlords. We can assist you with any aspect of your obligations from gas safety, furnishings, electrical installations through to houses in multiple occupation. Our team is on hand to undertake any request for further information.

When a tenancy comes to a close, HomeLets will write to the tenants informing them of their obligations for the END of the term. In addition, managed properties will be inspected by HomeLets staff on the final day, and keys collected. Deposits will only be returned once a series of obligations are fulfilled, including conclusion of utility arrangements.
