REFERENCING AND GUARANTORS
    
All of our tenants will be asked for references and photographic identification. Applicants from overseas will be asked to provide evidence of their current permit to work in the UK stating the expiry date.
For standard tenancy applications we require two references, for example:
- Former landlord
- Employer
- Course tutor (in the case of a student)
- Accountant (in the case of a self employed person)
- Personal referee
For students or those without current references, we will require a guarantor. This is usually their next of kin, another relative or close friend who is a UK homeowner and who has known the applicant for at least two years.
